WELCOME TO THE MORNINGTON VISITOR CENTRE
The township of Mornington is located at the start of the Mornington Peninsula about one hour’s drive from Melbourne. Visitors to Mornington can enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee and something to eat at the many cafes and restaurants before exploring the beach area or shopping at the many shops and boutiques.Every Wednesday there is a market on Main Street with crafts and produce.
For those interested in the arts Mornington is the home of the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery as well as other galleries. There are a couple of historic homes in the area “The Briars” at Mt. Martha and “ Beleura” at Mornington both are open to the public and well worth a visit.
This area has something to interest everyone just a short drive away, making Mornington the perfect place to make it your base whilst exploring our beautiful Peninsula.
